Bungee Jumping

Chilla Safari Zone is the most famous safari track in Rajaji National Park, In which tourists take a safari of about 36 kilometres. The Wildlife in the Chilla Range is also great due to the variety of habitats. Tourists can spot Tigers, Leopards as well as Elephants, Spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar.
Driving off into a dense forest in an open jeep and getting up close and almost personal with the wild is exciting. Uttarakhand, with a large forest cover, offers several safari options, including at Corbett National Park and Rajaji National Park.National parks and wildlife sanctuaries are a common sight in Uttarakhand due to the presence of the wildlife in abundance. The weather conditions in the state are also ideal for them to thrive.

Mountain Biking
Uttarakhand’s diverse terrain offers several challenging routes for mountain biking. A very popular sport in the state, there are trails for beginners and professionals alike. In fact, the annual Ultimate Mountain Terrain Biking Championship, which is said to be Asia’s longest mountain bike race, is held here and draws participants from across the world.
With many other thrilling sports, Uttarakhand also open doors for the exhilarating adventure activity of mountain biking holidays. The biking trails in Uttrakhand are best traversed between the months of March to May and October to December.The state still being unspoiled is best explored on mountain bikes that can even pave their way through its rugged terrains that often lead to some breathtaking destinations.

Paragliding
An extreme sport, paragliding can be described as flying in the sky, high above lush dense forests, undulating valleys carpeted in green and snow-capped peaks. And Uttarakhand, bordered by the mighty Himalayan ranges in the north and the undulating Terai plains in the south provides just the perfect the perfect topography for this sky-touching sport.
While the experienced can opt for hours of tandem flights and reach a height of over 10,000 ft, beginners can enjoy shorter joy rides and even opt for the training courses offered by tour operators to enjoy longer flights. Some of the best spots for paragliding here include Maldevta (in Dehradun), Bhimtal, Kota Bagh, Nainital, Kausani and Bageshwar.

River Rafting
Uttarakhand, with gurgling rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Alaknanda, Tons, Kali, Kosi and many more, is the ultimate white water rafting destination. Between braving the currents and gently floating, rafting in Uttarakhand can be experienced by the novice, the experienced and even non-swimmers. Rishikesh is one of the most popular rafting destinations.
For strong rapids, opt for the stretches along the Alaknanda, Dhauliganga and Kali rivers. Beginners can raft from Barkot to Lakhamandal and Damta to Yamuna Bridge, near Mussoorie. The rafting season is between September and June. Along with rafting, you can also try cliff jumping.

Skiing
Auli in Uttarakhand is popularly called the ski capital of India, suited to both beginners and the seasoned. Boasting slopes lined with coniferous trees and carpeted with thick snow during peak season (between December and March), this hill station is equipped with state-of-the-art skiing facilities. Auli, however, is not the only spot. Lesser-known and yet as stunning sites include Daraya Bugyal that offers a 28-sq-km slope, Munsiyari and Mundali.
Uttarakhand is ideal destination for Adventure seekers. The loftiness and stretches of Uttarakhand Himalayas offers extensive distance skiing to experts and erudition skiers.

Stargazing
There are a very few things in life as beautiful, romantic, serene and calming as a clear night sky filled with hundreds of twinkling stars. Some of the spots in the state that boasts uninterrupted views of a star-studded sky include Gurson Bugyal (near Auli), Jeolikot (near Bhowali), Kedarkantha (Uttarkashi district), Munsiyari (Pithoragarh district), Majhkhali (a small hamlet near Ranikhet), Chakrata and Chaukori.
Kausani is also home to an observatory (Stargate Observatory) that even conducts astronomy workshops and Nainital boasts one of the largest telescoped attached to the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences.Uttarakhand, also known as the Land of the Gods, is a treasure trove of natural beauty. Trekking
Some of the popular trekking destinations in Uttarakhand are Dodital, Dayara Bugyal, Valley of Flowers, Kedartal and Pindari Glacier. Har Ki Dun trek is known for its beautiful green landscapes, river streams and panoramic views of the Himalayan snow-clad peaks.
Uttarakhand is blessed with a scenic hilly terrain that renders the state as one of the best in the country for trekking.
